Not bad in overall. Maybe replacing the silence with at least some music would make it better?
I was impressed by a "Don't forget the key" suddenly written in red, old gothic font, when other text (not including the win layout) are just times-new-roman-like. Also when boss fight was like, canceled with "just don't touch it", it made me smile a bit.
Self-irony is understandable, but such criticism of your own project is not worth it. If you don't like it, make it better, and maybe you'll like it later.
